Peppers
Another image following a suggested workflow from Camera Club Live. In this case a simple flash lit scene using a translucent white umbrella (video here). A few issues following to the letter; first being my table height, and the second being my 40” umbrella was probably a little large.
Image was taken with a Canon R6m2 at 1/200th of a second (flash sync speed) and ultimately at f/32 to give a greater depth of field at ISO100. Lens used was a RF100mm F2.8L Macro IS USM. For the Flash, I used a single Godox Wistro AD600BM flash unit at 1/4+0.3 power fitted with a 40” translucent umbrella modifier. The peppers were placed onto a white perspex sheet for the image.
Image to the left shows the setup of the image
The umbrella was placed approximately 6” in front of the peppers and approximately 12” above. Camera height and angle was set to keep the umbrella out of the image, while giving sufficient area in front of and behind the peppers to show the white to grey gradation.
